The starting point was not a conventional corporate message, but a simple question: how do you feed a growing population without exhausting the systems that make food possible?
Daniel’s interview provides the narrative spine. His experience gives the film a clear route through regenerative agriculture, from composting and carbon to soil health and circular use of resources.

A human voice at the centre of a complex subject.
I filmed the Biohub as a working landscape rather than a backdrop. Observational sequences of people, animals, crops and the wider farm give weight to what is being discussed, letting the audience see the processes behind the language.
The visual approach stayed cinematic and documentary-led, with the interview and natural detail carrying the film instead of an overtly promotional treatment.

The Biohub is intended to be more than one successful farm. It is a place to demonstrate, test and share practical ideas that can travel beyond this site and into the wider agricultural community.
Levy UK’s support connects that work with the food and hospitality supply chain, giving the story a broader context without losing sight of the people and land at its centre.
My role covered filmmaking, documentary interviewing, cinematography and editing. The edit follows a deliberate progression: establish the challenge, show regenerative farming in practice, explain why shared knowledge matters, then return to the longer-term reason for acting now.
It closes on a thought that gives the film its human scale: making decisions today that protect the ability of our children’s children to grow food and live within a healthy environment.
